I am an Author and Illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. My art inspiration comes from the natural world and the little creatures and stories it contains. A lot of my research involves observing nature, animals and people in their everyday interactions - everyone is telling a different story - which I hope to capture in my work. 

I hope to evoke a sense of beauty and connection within my illustrations, whether that is capturing the curious expression of  a Robin caught unawares, or the mysterious silence of a Snow Leopard walking. I hope that this encourages people to appreciate the connections they have, both with each other and with the world around them.

My first picture book ' A Dragon Story' was published by Little Door Books and I have done various book events and workshops with festivals, local libraries and nurseries, recently branching out into window paintings.
