I am an Author and Illustrator from Forres, Scotland. My art inspiration comes from the natural world and the little creatures and stories it contains. A lot of my research involves observing nature, animals and people in their everyday interactions - everyone is telling a different story - which I hope to capture in my work.
I hope to evoke a sense of beauty and connection within my illustrations, whether that is capturing the curious expression of a Robin caught unawares, or the mysterious silence of a Snow Leopard walking. I hope that this encourages people to appreciate the connections they have, both with each other and with the world around them.
My first picture book was published by Little Door Books and I have done various book events and workshops with book festivals, local libraries and nurseries. I make gift cards and prints that I sell via Instagram and "my soon to be open" Etsy Shop.
